This blog will follow us on our RVing adventures in our 2000 Winnebago Adventurer. Us being my almost retired husband, myself and our two dachshunds, Snuggles and Hans (hence the name Weinerbago) and our very old and blind Yorkshire terrier, Smokie. We bought the motorhome on Dec 30, 2013 and have spent the last 3 months going over it with a fine tooth comb. We were so lucky to find this camper. Its a beautiful rig with only 24,000 original miles. The interior is pristine condition, it has everything we were looking for, a slide out, leveling stabilizers, more counter space, fantastic fans, no window over our heads in bedroom ( to blast us awake at sun up), backup camera and then some. We have our maiden voyage planned for Easter weekend close to home just in case we encounter any problems. We will run it through its paces checking all systems. Black water, grey water, A/C, cooking in it sleeping in it, showering in it, learning how to set the levelers, setting out the awning, everything. Our check list is almost complete and we are anxiously anticipating our first camp out.
